the rice chronicles part 16- harvest time

phewwwwwww- that is rice.

Our rice.

Our rice drying on the drying racks after being cut and tied and hung by us.

The grains are plump and plentiful, the rice prolific and the job never ending!

This was the scene at the end of day 1:

Everything to the left of screen is rice.

Our rice.

Our yet to be harvested and cut and hung and dried on the drying racks rice.

Phew......

What's the plan for threshing? We did footpeddalled ashibumidakoki one or two years, but have upgraded to a harvester ... not as romantic, but not as painful, either. Ganbare!!!
