third time lucky...

Amy lost another tooth today.

And calmly walked over and handed it to me.

Hallelujah!

Third time lucky and all that, yeah?

But that makes three teeth in less than a month.

A little worrying, right?

I'm thinking we should cut back on the mountain dew and coke in her night time bottle... and maybe re-think the fruit flavoured gum is the same as fruit idea, too huh?

Just kidding mum!!!

I was a little interested in what was going on though so I had a look in her mouth and ahh hahhh- she has two big teeth coming in already so I'm guessing they were pushing the baby teeth out.

Still I think the tooth fairy would appreciate a bit of a break from all the flying up to our house for a little while!

For my Halloween parties I did a game where students had to pull a (wrapped) treat off a jumprope with their teeth. We did it last year, too. But I forgot that 6 year olds mouths are different from 5 year old mouths. One poor girl was missing 6 teeth in front and was desperately trying to get the candy off with her tongue! Not easy!

I just realized it was Amy, not Meg who lost her third tooth! Wow! That tooth fairy is one busy lady. At least Santa gets to rest 364 days a year. A woman's work is never done...

Congrats on the new 3rd tooth to Amy. Yep when those big ones underneath grow and wanna push up... those little baby teeth don't stand a chance. ; )

You deserve a rest tooth fairy. : )

Yoshi once lost four teeth in a DAY! But he didn't lose any till the spring break between first and second grade, incredibly late. Then they all fell like mad until he was caught up to "normal"! The tooth fairy was broke that day......

Thank you for reminding me... Emily lost yet another tooth last night and wrote a letter to the tooth fairy tonight - I guess I should get on with writing the letter in return!
She lost one last week too so perhaps they do come out in bunches!
