Spot the half gaijin - the only one who doesn't look like she's going for a job interview at the age of six! Love her dress - and their Easter egg hunt outfits.I reckon if I planted my hub in a pot he'd be about as lively as that aloe plant. Shite, or perhaps thats me at the moment. Either or, and it doesn't even really snow here :)my word today is tototero - someone with a stutter trying to say totoro?
I agree with gaijin wife- Great dress!!I like how she is a good head taller than anyone else.
Beautiful dress and cute slippers! (sorry it is jus habit to check peoplesshoes!!)Love that she has a big beautiful smile even though she was probably as nervous as hell :)
Is she really so much taller than all the other kids? She looks suitably proud of herself! And I looooove her dress! I couldn't hog-tie either of mine into cute dresses when they were younger, and now that they're older, it's just not the same.
The expression on her face in the last photo says it all :-) She looks sooo pretty. xxx
GW- I know right? And the short skirts and the 'flapper devil' brand suits and and.... The dress was recycled from her Aunt's wedding http://shinshuulife.blogspot.com/2009/04/saturday.html but hey, thrifty right?Melanie- thank you!achan- I love my slippers, too. I bought them as an AET. Figured if I was going to spend my days in slippers they were going to be cute ones and not the horrible communal vinyl ones!slime- yup. She's really that much taller than her classmates. About the height of a 3rd grader. It's weird she plays like a tomboy but loves skirts and dresses.anchan- thank you. I was so glad to see her looking happy. She's a bit of a timid thing and I was worried it would all be a bit overwhelming.
