sad,garden,old house,hard,life

That's what someone blog searched when they ended up here. :(

OK, I'm a teeny bit addicted to sitemeter at the moment.

The only audiences my previous creative writing has had were English teachers who spent all their time inserting, moving and removing my random commas and my Dad when he found my Year 7 diary.  And that was really, really not appreciated.  (And for what it's worth I grew out of the deeply, madly in love with a boy a week and am innocent enough to write it down in a diary I will hide under my bed and promptly forget about thing waayyyyyy before I ever had a boyfriend so while accutely embarrassing I'm afraid it probably wasn't as exciting as Dad hoped.) ;)

So anyway, the idea that all these people are using (on average) 2:19 seconds of their precious time to peruse my ramblings is really exciting.  And seeing where everyone is coming from is really six degrees of separation type interesting.  But 'sad, garden, old house, hard, life'?  That's not the image I was going for at all!!

So here's a happy picture for you:

That's a total of 1kg of five varieties of home grown chilli peppers.  I grew two of them and my neighourhood buddy grew the other three and we swapped and this is my half.  It's great to have that kind of neighbour and it's great to have so much produce but that's not why it's a happy picture.

So why is that a happy picture?

I can't show you until tomorrow.

Goodnight

Checking out your sitemeter is pretty addictive, isn't it!! I get lots of people coming to my blog through searches for the mongolian blue spot... I only wrote about it once, and it was after I first heard about it! So I am sure a lot of people are dissapointed when they get to my blog, lol!

Your chilli peppers looks delicious!! I am intrigued to why that photo is a happy photo!! Will definitely be looking again later to see if you have updated your blog!

I have been pretty slack with commenting lately, ごめんね。

Those search words are laughable! It must have been some kind of fluke combination in one of your posts. Like, "I passed our beautiful GARDEN whilst walking to the back of our OLD (though much-loved) HOUSE contemplating LIFE and how HARD it would be to live anywhere else!" :)

How do you check for searches on sitemeter?

I don`t know how long people spend on my blog but I definitely get some random searches. I would like to see what countries the people are coming from but I figure most of them would be Oz, Japan or UK.

I could use some chillies- three things I have cooked in the last week have called for them (chilli crab, thai beef salad & sticky chicken and rice)!! Want to send some to me??

Looking forward to the happy surprise!

gina- thanks. You know someone found me through your 'no Paris Hilton's out here in the country!' comment, too. Bizarre, huh?

kim- got sitemeter up and running yet? Beware though, it's addictive!!

nay- wish I had of read your blog before I had Meg- the spot freaked me out!! I thought she got it from my pushing too hard. :(

You've been slack with commenting? I'm trying to write a weeks worth while watching CSI- and not fall asleep!

tigermama- I'm sure you're right. That would be a nice way to be found. :)

lulu- what do you think Australia Post would make of it? ;)
